90,000 people helped back into work

This week Reed in Partnership has celebrated after succeeding in helping 90,000 people move from benefits into employment.

Reed in Partnership has been helping the long-term unemployed, single parents and those on benefits back into sustainable employment since 1998 and this week, celebrates successfully helping 90,000 people back into work across the UK.

The celebration marks a milestone in the success of Reed in Partnership in helping to break down barriers to employment that these groups can face, such as lack of confidence, child care issues, transport issues and training.

Chris Melvin, Chief Executive, comments: “Helping 90,000 people off benefits and back into meaningful employment is a great achievement and one we are very proud of. It is testament to the dedication and hard work of all our teams across the country.

“What matters in these difficult times is what works, and the best way to help those in long-term unemployment find a sustainable job is to provide a bespoke service and individual, ongoing support. We look forward to continuing our work to help even more people make the transition from benefits into work in the future.”
