Flexible New Deal (FND)
From October 2009 the Government is introducing Flexible New Deal, a new employment service to help people who are unemployed find work. The Flexible New Deal will replace the current New Deal 18 – 24 and 25+ and Employment Zones programmes.
The programme will provide a personalised and responsive approach to individual customer needs. This will involve tailored employment and skills support to meet that needs of both customers and local employers along with opportunities for customers to take up work placements. A key element of the programme will be ensuring that customers get jobs that offer opportunities for progression, with an emphasis on relevant pre-employment and in-work training. Reed in Partnership is proud to be delivering the Flexible New Deal as a subcontractor in Suffolk.
