New Deal for Disabled People (NDDP)

The New Deal for Disabled People (NDDP) programmes are Government initiatives aimed at helping people move into or remain in work. The NDDP is targeted specifically at people with disabilities and long-term health problems, particularly those receiving benefits on the grounds of incapacity for work. The Department for Education and Employment (DfEE) and the Department of Social Security (DSS) are jointly responsible for NDDP.
