Overview

The Condition Management Programme (CMP) is aimed at supporting participants on our employability programmes who have disabilities and health conditions to manage their conditions and move towards employment. An Employment Therapist is responsible for the engagement, assessment and progression of long-term unemployed individuals on to the CMP. They facilitate access on to the program, and diagnose and support participants in their journey towards work.

Combining recognised conceptual and theoretical frameworks on  physical and mental health,  an Employment Therapist facilitates an improvement in the participant's self management of their health condition in order to improve their functional capacity for work. They operate within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic delivery of the CMP within the overall framework of Reed in Partnership policies and procedures.
