How do I apply for roles other than Employment Adviser and Employment Trainer?
If you would like to apply for a such as this role within Reed in Partnership then you must send your CV, via email, to rinp.ma@reedglobal.com clearly stating the role you wish to apply for in the subject line of the email.
What do I do if I want to apply to more than one location or role?
You will need to send a separate email for each application, clearly stating the location for each application. You are welcome to apply for as many roles as you wish, but again, each application will need to be sent on an individual email. Please note, however, that you would not be able to apply for an identical role within six months of a previous unsuccessful application for the same role.
AFTER YOU SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION
I have emailed my CV to you, so what happens next ?
Your application will be reviewed after the closing date for applying. This will usually be no longer than two weeks from the date of submission, so please do be patient as we may not contact you for a few days after you apply.
How will I find out whether my application has been successful?
An email will be sent to you advising you of the outcome of your application, along with details of the further stages you will need to undertake should you be successful.
What is your recruitment process?
- We will screen you application and advise you if you have been successful or unsuccessful.
- Successful candidates will receive ad email advising them to complete a Credit Check form and Giotto personality test.
- For certain roles you will also be asked to undertake a Verbal and Numerical Reasoning test.
- If successful with the above stages, your CV will be sent to the hiring manager to be reviewed by them,
- After this you will be advised, via email, whether or not you have been invited to the interview stage (telephone or face-to-face).
How long does the recruitment process last?
The process will vary in time for each role, dependant on how quickly the stages are completed as mentioned above. However there will usually be no more than two weeks between you sending an application and receiving a communication from us regarding whether it was successful or unsuccessful.
What will the Telephone Interview consist of ?
The Telephone interview could either be an informal chat with the manager to help them determine your suitability, or a more formal competency based interview. You will be told in advance what to expect and how to prepare, if needed.
What does the Assessment Centre consist of ?
The Assessment Centre will usually involve a number of activities, please see the Application Process section for what these include.
Do I need to take any documentation with me to the assessment ?
Yes you will - you will be emailed information about what needs to be brought with you, and you will need to ensure you have all of the documents mentioned prior to attending.
When do I find out if I have been successful at a final Interview or Assessment Centre ?
If you have been successful you will be called within 5 working days.
- After a candidate has been successful at the Assessment Centre they will be made a conditional offer. Should they accept then before starting they will need to undergo pre-employment checks (referencing, Disclosure Scotland and CRB).
- It is only after these checks have been successfully completed that the offer will change from a conditional one to a formal one.
- At that stage a finalised start date will be agreed.
If a candidate is unsuccessful and email will be sent
How long does referencing and screening take to complete ?
We aim to complete this procedure within 2-3 weeks. After which the new starters' line manager will call them to discuss a start date.
OTHER QUESTIONS
Are travelling expenses to the Assessment Centre paid for?
- Candidates will not have travel expenses paid if they are being interviewed in the same city as they are hoping to work in e.g. London candidates will NOT have their expenses reimbursed as the Assessment Centres for these positions are held in London.
I have previously applied/attended an interview for this role. Can I reapply?
We are unable to process applications from candidates who have attended an interview for the same role within the last six months. Candidates can reapply after six months.
I have previously applied/attended an interview for a different role. Can I apply for a separate vacancy?
You may apply for a different role and there are no time restrictions on when a new application can be submitted.
